Finding your music

The music that was included as the soundtrack to our film, was hard to find but worth the trouble. Sophie and I found it hard to find a piece of music that would suit our film effectively and to our tastes, we went through numerous websites until we found the specified piece of music that we decided to include in our film. The music was ambient as to not distract the viewer and let them focus on what was going on in the film, but still adding a theme of suspense and mystery to the film.

Production Company Ident

Studio Ident Analysis

Ruopia Productions was the name of our production company for the thriller film that we produced for our media coursework.
The idents all focus around a gothic and negative metallic theme which represents and conveys the idea of a thriller film.
The font used was Abadi Light'. We believe that our film studio ident should be something that is faint with a dark edge to it, as we believe the ident should have a dark edgy theme to it to represent the film.
'Ruopia' is a mix of Sophie and my name to create 'Ruopia', it was an easy enough name for our studio production company and we felt it connected us into the movie even more if our names were attached.
The look of the ident on the film was spontaneously created and not attached or affiliated to any sort of connection with any other ident.
Overall I believe the ident could of been better created so that the audience could remember the ident and name of the production company as the ident is very faint and unlikely to remember as it does not drag out the attention of the audience too much.
